Never sewn a stitch? Do you have a sewing machine but don't know really know how to use it? This class is where you can learn, or get reintroduced if it’s been a while. You do not have to know anything. Seriously, not a thing! No experience required. You don’t even have to bring anything but your own sweet self. 

You will learn how to use a sewing machine, including threading the machine and bobbin, and what the heck all those little attachments are for. You will be introduced to basic sewing skills, tools and terminology, along with lots of tips and tricks that prevent frustration. Mary will walk you through all the steps to get you off to a fun and lasting friendship with a sewing machine. 

*THIS CLASS TAKES PLACE AT MARY'S STUDIO INSIDE WHITTY BOOKS AT 2306 EAST ADMIRAL BLVD* You are welcome to park in the lot behind the building, shared with Circle Cinema, and enter through the back door - it’s bright green, you can’t miss it! 

Ages: Adults & teens age 14 & up 

$65: includes everything, including use of sewing machine, a little fabric, thread, and tools. You seriously do not need to bring a thing, unless you have your own sewing machine you'd like to learn how to use. If so, feel free to bring it along!
